Testimonials

“We were warmly welcomed by the owner and her family. There was a welcome tray with coffee, tea, milk, biscuits and 6 very newly-laid eggs which made into the creamiest omelette we have ever tasted. The farm is delightful and the cottage contained everything we needed and more, all immaculately clean and well organised. Location was ideal for reaching Symonds Yat, Hereford and Monmouth and more. Excellent walking country, a walk to Goodrich Castle actually starts on the farm and the river is less than 500m away. A terrific place to stay, you won’t be disappointed.”

“Our hosts made us most welcome and left a good ‘welcome tray’. They also checked whenever we saw them that we were satisfied, offering to change towels etc. At the same time they did not intrude. We could go into their garden and over their fields whenever we wanted. The farm is away from the road and very quiet, in spite of horses, ducks, & hens, which makes life interesting.”

“The family was extremely welcoming and The whole atmosphere was restful and the setting within the farm and being able to see the horses, pick wild mushrooms, go for lovely walks etc, was just what we wanted and needed.”
